Based on your "criteria", you don't have a lot I'd recommend...

The "best" options would be Vagabond Inn and Holiday Inn in SAN PEDRO, (not the ones in Long Beach)...

But are you driving, and parking for the 7 days?

If so, then you should factor the park and ride into that (as opposed to $12 a day at the pier), and go for The Coast in Long Beach;

Or The Crowne Plaza in San Pedro.

Both are good options, and have shuttles to and from the pier.

We have lots of threads here with pictures and everything of the various hotels, if you look around and scroll back or do a search.

Try hotwire.com They show a 3.5 star hotel in Long Beach for 99 dollars. We booked that and it was the Westin hotel. Great reviews, very close to the pier and the shopping areas with restarants.

PS. Tidy up when you leave. We will be boarding right after you! =)

Melissa, try Priceline for Crowne Plaza. I stayed there for $65 in January. You can see the ship if your room is on that side plus they take you right down to it. If Priceline is not available then try Hotwire. It is the 3.5 star in San Pedro. Seems that is the one everyone wins their bid on.

happy cruising .

Melissa

Please let me know how this hotel is. Thinking about booking it for next February 13, 2009 before our cruise to Mexico. We have stayed in a Vagabond years ago in Redding, CA and it was pretty descent then. Have a wonderful cruise.
