Time for last tender in French Polynesia?

We're going on the Star Flyer in Tahiti next May. I'm looking at an independent tour that's from 9:30am to 4:30pm in Bora Bora. If the ship is scheduled to depart at 5pm, will we be able to make the last tender?

I really want to make the most of the day there by taking a 4 x 4 tour to get some good photo ops, but also want to do a circle island lagoon tour with snorkeling and shark feeding. And the tour I'm looking at (Patrick's) offers all of this. I hope this is possible!

Thanks for your help.

The last tender is typically a half hour before the ship departs. However, arrival and departure times are very fluid on Star Flyer based on the weather conditions that day. Itineraries seem to change too -- the schedule on Star Clippers' website (regarding where we'd be when) was not the same as what we actually sailed.

I wouldn't recommend booking any independent tour that isn't cancellable and fully refundable.
