Caribe Hilton or El Condado?

We are staying in San Juan 2 days before our cruise in April. We have Hilton points for a free room. I am having a hard time on deciding which hotel.

Any recommendations between the 2?

I definitely would say the Caribe Hilton.... While they are both great properties the Caribe I think has the better facilities and grounds. I really love the loungers and hammocks out on the waterfront. I guess if a casino is a big thing for you then the Condado Plaza is the one but IMHO the Caribe is the better one.

They also have these beds that are great for soaking in the sun or relaxing in the evening.... if there was not s much to do there, would be a great place for a nap.... lol

The Caribe Hilton has this little pier that goes out over the water and it is really pretty to go out and look in the water at fish... especially at night, they have it lit up and you can see completely different fish at night, plus the sounds of the ocean are always good.

Does anyone know if the Caribe Hilton has pull out sofa beds? We need rooms that can sleep 5 or 6. The Embassy Suites is one option but the Hilton looks very inviting :p
