Looking for something to do the second day in Kauai. Would like to do something relaxing. The ship (POA) leaves early to sail by the Napali coast. Is there a beach within walking distance of the pier. What is the port area like. Are there stores to walk arouns. ANything else anyone can suggest? Thanks in advance for your answers.

Yes! Kalapaki beach! It's a 10 minute walk or a quick, free shuttle ride from where the ship docks in Nawiliwili Harbor. We spent a few hours there Friday morning. There are some shops, too.

We booked a flight with Wings Over Kauai. They will pick us up & drop us off in plenty of time for departure.
