Art Auctions on board?

Does Royal Carribean have art auctions on their Alaska cruises? If so what do you do with art that you buy (this question could be for any cruise). Can it be shipped from the ship to home? I would hate to know I have to carry it in addition to my luggage once I get off my cruise and fly back home.

My wife and I bought art on a Princess in the Caribbean last year. Princess shipped it to our house. We didn't receive the art for about six weeks. Princess has a central shipping warehouse that checks, claens and ships all of the art.

I just bought last week on the Carnival Spirit 4 Incredible pieces of art. They said they will be shipped in 6 weeks and they send it anywhere for a minimal fee. On my paintings they were going to replace the frames because it was pretty messed up from all the moving around.

I also looked online for my paintings and 2 are limited editions which the prices has tripled. The other 2 I still bought way under the gallery prices and the painters prices.
