Upgrades

Hi first time with misc this summer on mervigria. We have an outside cabin on deck 8. As we have chosen our cabin and not a guarantee does this mean we won't be moved/upgraded? I have registered for there loyalty scheme do I have to somewhere I will agree to an upgrade like rci.
