barbri Posted July 30, 2017 #1 Share Posted July 30, 2017 Will be disembarking in Montreal with a late afternoon flight. Any suggestions on how to see some sights, deal with luggage and then get to airport?

Jolie_Cruiser Posted July 31, 2017 #4 Share Posted July 31, 2017 (edited) Thank you Nautica34 for reposting the Port of Montreal link. In it, there is also taxi rate information to get to/from the airport. Two places I recommend visiting, which are close to the main terminal (T-1 at Quai Alexandra), are the Pointe-à-Callière Museum and the Notre-Dame Basilica. I visited the Pointe-à-Callière Museum again this year and it is even better with the new addition. Here is a Montreal Old Port area map where you will see where they are situated. barbri Posted August 1, 2017 Author #5 Share Posted August 1, 2017 Thanks Jolie for the tips and map. I'm still trying to find a place to stash our luggage while we do a little exploring before taking taxi to airport.
Jolie_Cruiser Posted August 1, 2017 #6 Share Posted August 1, 2017 You should be able to store your luggage at the cruise terminal.
barbri Posted August 1, 2017 Author #7 Share Posted August 1, 2017 And pick it up later before going to the airport? I thought access to the terminal would be restricted to those departing on a cruise.
Jolie_Cruiser Posted August 1, 2017 #8 Share Posted August 1, 2017 I double checked with the Port Authority about that. The luggage consignment at the cruise terminal is available both for embarking and disembarking cruise ship passengers.
