Ballantyne Pier?

What has been folks experience with the alternative pier in Vancouver? We are sailing on Serenade June 9th and were wondering what time we could realistically arrive and board. We like to "get on early".

No problem. We sailed from there last September. We left our hotel (two blocks from Stanley Park) about noon and were in the dining room around 1:00 or shortly after. Things went very smoothly. Enjoy.

Appreciate the information also as we are on the same RCI (Serenade) cruise as you are Heartdoc. My hope is that we can drop our bags with the porter and then park our car in the remote garage. Can we?

Second question concerns the electronic travel docs RCI issues instead of the old paper ones. How does RCI issue the baggage tags at the pier since we only have a printout with our cabin number?
