My name is Alison and I and sailing as a birthday celebration with one of my best friends, Natasha.

We have organised a tour to Vung Tau ( closer that HCMC) when we dock at Vietnam. I found it through TripAdvisor and it looks pretty good.... awesome in fact. And the reviews are all excellent.

They pick you up from the dock, air con travel during the tour .. traditional villages, tunnels, beaches, Vietnam lunch etc.... then drop back at the port in plenty of time !!!

... there is a limit of 12 persons.... we have paid $190 US for the two of us. The more people who join the tour the cheaper it gets.

This is the information they gave me: Prices:

1 or 2 guests = US$190. This includes a delicious $20 lunch with beer and soft drinks.

3 or more guests = only US$45/tour each + $20 lunch with beer and soft drinks - ($65 total). Bring some friends to significantly reduce the price.

P.S. Allison - while we'd also love to also join you on the Vung Tau excursion, but since it's our first time in Vietnam, we'd like to see HCMC also, hence it's not going to work out.
