We are booked on a private Bodden tour. We know we are going to stop and see

*the monkeys

*the sunken ships

*possibly the butterfly santuary

We are into photograhy, culture and history. We arent into beaches.

What should we not miss on the island?

thanks!

For culture and history, you might think about visiting the Garifuna village. Or there are the mangrove tunnel tours and last there is also an iguana farm.

As for photography, Roatan is a dream……. ask to go up a hill for some drop-dead gorgeous views……. and don't rule out some beaches for some beautiful pictures here……

just my ideas for ya' - love this place !!!!

We visited Punta Gorda, the Garifuna village, I think, and our driver got us a local, Captain Alex for the mangrove tunnel tour.He also took us to Hole in the Wall restaurant for a cool one. I guess it is still there, reached by water.
