Traveling w/o a us passport on a cruise in the western hemisphere on Princess Cruises

My US passport expired, so I would be traveling w/o a valid passport.

Can I enter into Cartagena or will the Colombian port of authorities would not allow me to enter?

can someone please tell me if they went recently to Cartegena on a closed loop cruise with out a us passport and was able to enter the country or not? Colombia is part of the western hemisphere and on the us.gov. map for the w.h.

Thank you.

I had a passport but it was not requested to enter or leave Columbia and on a closed loop cruise is not required for US entry.

That said, should the unfathomable happen and you miss the boat in Colombia (or any other port), you will have a challenging time getting home without one.

When were you in Cartagena, Colobia? was it recently?

Thanks.
