Nong Nooch Transportation

We will be in Laem Chabang, the port for Bangkok, on December 26 on Sapphire Princess. We are interested in spending the day at Nong Nooch Botanical Gardens. The shore excursion that is available only spends a short amount of time at the garden. Does anyone have any experience in getting to the garden and back on your own?

Thanks for the help,

Randy

It is not too far from Pattaya. There are two Avis locations in Pattaya that you could rent a car from, one at the Dusit and the other at the Hard Rock. Not sure if they dellver but you could get Avis website and ask! Driving in that area is not too bad!!!

Good Luck and enjoy the cruise!

I definitely would not drive. There are lots of taxis but apparently are a bit of a cartel. We pre arranged a driver from a limousine company. They took us where ever we wanted to go. Not really a limousine, but we knew the cost before hand. Driving would be a nightmare.. At every intersection drivers activate their hazard lights to let other drivers know they are coming through, along with the horn. Jennifer

We were there several years ago & likewise we prefer to spend more time than the ship's tour is offering.

We are currently negotiating with someone that we're using for a day tour the day before. However we'd prefer a smaller vehicle rather than trying to get a group together. Could you let me have the name of the company you are using

The company we used was "the limo Pattaya" have a look at their website confirm a price for the day, we then paid at the end of the day in Thailand. They take you wherever you like. We researched before and asked them to take us there. We did the elephant sanctuary, floating market and then shopping for DVDs. Jennifer
