Uniworld Venice- Doges Palace?

For those who have been does the included tour take you inside the palace?

It depends on the language used....I read this in a travel magazine and it has been my experience that it is basically accurate:

"See the Doge's palace" means you'll drive/walk by it and the tour guide will tell you about it;

"Photo stop at the palace" means you'll have time to get off the bus and take a photo;

"Visit the palace" means you'll actually go inside the palace and may or may not have a guided tour but you will spend some time inside;

"Tour the palace" means you'll go inside the palace with a guide who will lead you through pointing out all the important things.

Excellent. We will see you on board as we are on the same sailing. I am a really generous guy so I will buy the first round of drinks :)

Look forward to meeting you. Very excited to try Uniworld and to be back in Italy, my favorite place
