We are planning on taking a tour of Travellers Liqour Heritage Center. I have been told it is about 5 miles from the pier anyone know the cost of cabs and his many people can be in one? We are a party of 6. Does anyone have a reccomendation of a private tour guide and or how long does it take to get a cab to get back to the ship?

You can contact Reggie Tours, retourbz.com

Depending on the number of ships in that day, they can probably handle your request at a reasonable price. Have them stop at the Belize Sign and Admiral's Bay restaurant on the way back to the tender pier.

You can find taxis just outside the gates at the tender pier. No meters, you agree on a price per taxi before getting in. Generally fares from downtown Belize City to the airport run around US$ 25 each way. Use that as a gauge and starting point. Remember exchange rate is roughly B$1 = US$ 0.50.

There are van taxis around.
