European queen bed

Is a European style queen bed larger than a US queen? When I booked our G2 cabin I thought we had a king, but what I am seeing now says otherwise.

According to a mattress website, a European queen mattress is 3" wider and 1" shorter than a queen mattress in the U.S. (and much smaller than any king. This makes sense as the "G" category suites on Explorer are definitely not "king" but do seem wider than queen,
