We are first time cruisers and interested to find out more about room configurations for 3 berth cabins and also the usual layout if there is a cot in the room? Especially if there are say 4 in a cabin with request for a cot   Personal experiences would be fantastic to hear about

Welcome to cruise critic.

We had a Inside cabin for two on the Aria, the room was huge in comparison to other inside cabins we have been in. The bed was supposed to be a double but it was twin singles, we left it like this as it provided more room in the room.

There was also the provision for the two bunks in the ceiling to be dropped down to make it a quad or three berth.

There was lots of storage space and also a 3 seat lounge. there would be room for a portable cot to be set up, if the coffee table was moved, although it would make it very tight. to get onto the lounge.
