So I am stuck on St. Maarten. Second time there. Last time we did quick taxi tour to first get yummie pastries from French shop then round the other side to Orient Beach area and quickie stop downtown.

So here were are trying to figure out should we do a taxi again or rent a car this time??

Boat tours to island or other snorkel spots have mixed reviews online and through RCL about the time spent and crowded boats and speed of boats in rough waters. Seem like most people do the above captains?? Any opinions?? Little concerned with getting caught up in speed boat race with toddler in toe. Let me say that this wouldn't be our first boat excursion so boating is not the issue.

If we do full day boat seems like tight timing to get back in ship.

So throw out suggestions please for second timers!!
