So very dissappointed the casino payoffs were terrible, never once did I even hit a jackpot of $100 or more the host never even come up and talked to you, martin and carlos were on an alaska cruise very disappointed also free drinks were great the first couple of days, but by day 4 I was never approached and asked if I wanted a drink also I thought that you were suppose to have a gift in your room every nite -no nothing the last 2 nites, also I thought if you had so many points in the casino you would recieve a free cruise well I had over 8700 points nothing a lot did but they were the ones that did have another cruise booked..... needless to say I came home and cancelled my cruise in December and will think about a differnt line than Carnival also in the mdr we were given a pager and asked to sit in the bar lobby for about 1/2 hour .... I say save your money....

I was on this cruise as well. I had health issues and didn't get to the casino as much as I normally do. Was very disappointed in the pay outs. Seemed like they were more interested in profits that let us feel like we were winning. LOL if ya know what I mean. The machines were very tight. I lost a lot. Girl next to me hit 965.00 and the most I ever hit was 165.00. Very unusual for me.

I got drink offers from the staff but I agree - they were not as attentive as the other ships were for free drinks.

Still plan on going back on a cruise at the end of this month. Won't be on a premiere cruise this time as I booked from other than carnival to get the port hole room I wanted.

I immediately asked carnival to flag my account as premiere - said they can't. Went through cs twice and asked the email casino rep too. Doubt I will be gambling much on those next cruises anyway. The cig smoke is just too much for me. The elevator going to the mdr - smelled like it I was getting sick from it. I just think they need to come up with something better to separate the smokers from the non smokers.

Gifts: The travel mugs were nice - they even gave my roomie one. So it wasn't uncomfortable to be getting perks on this cruise. She even had the lanyard and free drink offer on day one like I did.

We have been cruising together for 10 years and she has maybe put $10 in the machines in all that time. The free casino beach towel was nice. We used it on our stay over in Ft Lauderdale. I don't drink much if at all - so the free bottle brought to my room isn't a perk to me. Wished I could get some spa services out of them - LOL

I met one of the hosts during the slot tournament. Only time I was contacted by the casino staff - She asked me the last night if I had my envelope offer - I said yes,,,,it was a discount on another cruise that was put in the mail box at like 4pm. The lady next to me was handed an envelope with a coupon for $500 in it.
