AnonymousCruiser69 Posted February 14, 2013 #3 Share Posted February 14, 2013 with the limited time you have, i would just take a stroll up las ramblas and visit the public market there. great people watching, shopping and street performers. chrispb Posted February 14, 2013 #4 Share Posted February 14, 2013 Or try the ho-ho bus, though it doesn't go to Montserrat as I recall.

AnonymousCruiser69 Posted February 16, 2013 #6 Share Posted February 16, 2013 Or try the ho-ho bus, though it doesn't go to Montserrat as I recall. with only a half-day in port, i would not use the ho-ho bus. i used it, but i had a full day. it only goes in one direction and it is SLOW. if one only wants to sit and not get off anywhere, it MIGHT be ok. I totally agree - sometimes it takes forever to get back on the bus. Plus it only goes in one direction. So we ended up to walk a couple of ( looong ) blocks from the Sagrada Familia to the next subway, get a ticket there to get back to the port to get a shuttle from there to the ship to be back in time. Subway was easy to do. We will be back in April, unfortunately only few hours, so we will do a walk.
