Thomson Majesty

Hi all, thinking about going on Majesty next month as a last minute post-op holiday for DH. We went on Thomson Destiny a couple of years ago & thoroughly enjoyed it. I also went on the lovely little Calypso about 7 years ago. We've also used Cunard & P&O - I'm just a cruise tart, no brand loyalty for me!

Any tips for going on Majesty? I'm thinking about an outside cabin for a change (usually we go inside), love food, a decent cocktail, like exploring new places but also want a bit of a rest as well. I've always been impressed by the entertainment on Thomson - how does Majesty do in that regard.

Any advice, thoughts, comments all gratefully received.

She is a lovely ship. The food and entertainment were very good when we were on her in October.

I would recommend booking a plus cabin as the standard ones are very snug with only one wardrobe.

have been on destiny,spirit and dream but majesty is easily our favourite,we were on her last october and will be back this coming March,we did have issues with the food in the mdr so we will see if it was just a bad week or not when we try again in march.

Entertainments good and trust me I'm a harsh critic

Can't remember his name but the comedian they had last year was brilliant.

We normally book a cabin outside on deck four near center. We have had 4048 & 4028 both good.

We have had 426 twice and booked it again.
