RCI Mayan Ruins excursion

Has anyone done the Mayan Ruins, Island tour, & beach break through Royal Caribbean? For anyone that has, what beach did you go to and did it include food or beverages? Or, was it available for purchase?

We're booked on this one in November from Explorer of the Seas. The beach is not specified, but there is a little information on this thread: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2100744

It's our understanding that on the excursion we've booked lunch is included, but the one response on the above thread stated that they were on Brilliance and paid separately for their beach lunch. But their excursion price was lower than what we're paying.
