Has anyone been able to book entertainment for your August cruise?

There is no "usually". Reservations open at seemingly random times. Keep checking your Cruise Planner.

I'm still waiting to book entertainment for July 9 cruise. I don't want to book dinner until I know what entertainment schedule is.

Mine is in Sept and of course no listings yet.

I'm wondering it they will stick with Mamma Mia or if there is a chance it will change to a different show. Does the ship need to dry dock to change their Broadway shows?

Changing a show is a major operation. It probably won't happen for years.

A ship can even go through a major dry dock renovation but still not change the Broadway shows. It is a major thing to change the ice productions or the Broadway Shows.

Usually 90 days before your cruise is when you can make the reservations. I was able to do mine for May 14th cruise.

We were able to book all of our shows on Allure 4 months out. Not sure why they opened the reservations early, but sometimes they do. Just keep checking.
