recommendations professional tour Dubai

Hi,

We decided to visit Dubai and chose a company based on recommendations from trip adivosr. Unfortunately they requested 50% deposit and if we pay online they asked a copy of the passport and credit carts double sided. There seems this practice is not ok. Tell me please if you met this practice in Dubai and if you have any recommendation for a professional / reliable agency is welcome (other than the ship tours).

Arabian adventures is a well known and trusted company, but I would recommend the Big Bus Tour if you want to see the city and main tourist attractions.

If you are interested in visiting the historic creek area of Dubai and learning about Emirati culture, consider visiting the Sheik Mohammed Center for Cultural Understanding. It is a great experience and they also offer some historic walks in the old area.

The Big Bust tours are also quite popular. If you purchase the 48 hour ticket, it includes a free half day tour to the neighboring emirate of Sharjah (WAFI stop) for visits to the Blue Souk and the heritage area with a couple of great museums.

Taxis are extremely inexpensive and readily available as both gas and vehicles are cheap. Dubai is small and you can easily do it on your own with a taxi driver. Customs are extremely strict in general.
