Question for Law Enforcement cruisers

I will be driving from San Diego with the wife and three kids for the March 21st VOS cruise. I was wondering if anyone has utilized either Galveston PD or the Harbor PD to lock up their gun/credentials, or park their cars. In San Diego the Harbor PD is very accomadating to Officer's, allowing them to park at their station instead of the airport. Just wondering before I lock in a reservation at one the local parking lots. Thanks, in advance

haven't ever heard of this, but the number to Galveston pd is : 409-797-3806.. port of galveston pd # is 409-766-6169... you might give them a call and get the information you need. Galveston pd handles everything around the pier, port of galveston pd handles everything at the terminal itself...(this is the information that galveston pd dispatch gave me when I called)... hope this helps
