Get rental car or towncar for Port to Disney hotel?

Looking for advice. We are getting a one-way rental when we arrive in MCO to get to Cape Canaveral. What we can't decide is whether it is a benefit and less hassle to have a towncar service pick us up after the cruise or just rent another car and return to downtown Disney. Is there benefits to either one? We are a family of 5 with a special needs child that does not do well in chaotic situations and if he needs to wait for long periods.
