Taxi or 1/2 day tour to Belmont Estate/Chocolate Co?

Is it possible and a better value to take a taxi to Belmont Estates?

 

Our ideal day would be to stop at the local grocery to buy spices and then see the Chocolate area (Belmont/Chocolate factory) and maybe a nutmeg plantation for a 1/2 day and then hit Grand Anse or another beach for 2 hours before returning to the port at 4:30pm.

 

We port at 8am.
