TVs on Allure

Has anyone recently tried to connect a game console to the TV on the Allure via HDMI cable? We're in a Boardwalk Balcony cabin. We plan to leave the kids in the cabin (with a responsible adult, of course) on the evenings where we don't want to bring the kids to the shows and thought it would be easier on the sitter if the kids could play video games together.

There are HDMI inputs, but some people have reported not being able to use the supplied remote to select an alternate input. You may want to bring a universal remote just in case.

Good chance you should be able to do what you want. We were on the Allure in an OS in November with two TV's. The larger one in the living room I could not access the inputs or find any menu buttons. In fact, I couldn't even find the cables going into it.

However the smaller one in the bedroom I was able to. I could plug into the HDMI inputs and use the menu buttons to change inputs. I didn't have a universal remote so can't vouch for that on this sailing, even though it worked on prior sailings on other ships. By accident I did find the cabin remote would switch inputs. The little button that looks like a TV with rabbit ears would switch inputs. To be safe take a universal remote and a list of Samsung codes.
