How close is Tabyana beach to West End Village?

I'm so confused on what to do in Roatan and thought that DH & I could go to Tabyana beach, lounge around - maybe snorkel if we choose and then do a bit of shopping for some souvenirs...but when I looked on a map it looks like West End Village isn't that close to Tabyana? What is around Tabyana?

You're no more than a 10 minute water taxi ride from the West End. Tabyana is a 5 minute walk from West Bay Mall which has a deli, specialty coffee shop (Cool Beans) and a few small boutique-type stores that carry souvenirs, etc.
