Question about parking at the Mid-port garage at Port Everglades

We are first time cruisers, and planning to drive down for our cruise which departs this Sunday. After reading a lot of posts here on Cruise Critic, and some discussion with my DH, we are looking at parking at the Mid-Port garage. My question is about availability. Has anyone ever known this garage to be full? I don't want to be planning to park there Sunday morning only to find that the garage is full. I don't want to be stressing over parking at the last minute! Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I read somewhere that if the garage is full they will use an open parking lot and shuttle people to terminals.

Sharon, thanks for the response. I also looked at google satellite and the top of this garage was empty when at the same time Park N Go showed evidence of having had to valet park folks--which my husband wants to avoid. Of course who knows how many years ago this shot was taken. But together with your response I am feeling a little more reassured.
