Dania Beach Hotels

Always cruised out of Port Canaveral but looking at going on Oasis the end of July! Embassy Suites in Ft. Lauderdale booked as well as Renaissance! Found a good rate on Springhill Suites in Dania Beach as well as Cambria Suites in Dania Beach! Will be driving down and parking car at hotel and will probably catch taxi to ship as we want to be there by 9:30. Any comments on past guests at either of these hotels? Did you feel safe leaving your car there all week? What is close by as far as restaurants? How far is port from there? Never been past Port Canaveral so all of this is new to me? Open to other suggestions. Thanks.

We've stayed at the Springhill in Dania about a half-dozen times. Nice property, with free shuttle to the cruise port. Large shopping center and several restaurants within walking distance.
