I'm leaving on the carnival dream next week and I have booked a room at the comfort inn and suites paradise island to gain access to Atlantis. Can someone who has done this or anyone who knows the process explain the logistics to me? Also feel free to direct me to links of this topic as I will be searching myself after I post this. Thanks

When you get off the ship take a cab to the Comfort suites & Inn. Proceed to the check in desk. They will check you in quickly, take your CC, and direct you to the towel station and then you walk across a signed path and to get to Atlantis. It takes about 20 minutes in all. If you want a locker get in line immediately. They go quickly.

We just kept our stuff and never had a problem with it. We picked a central location near a food station and by a pool. We had a blast and it was soo much cheaper than the CCL excursion. Plus, the CCL excursion makes you take a tour of the property first.

Have fun!! The crazy river is a must!!!

Our family of 4 just did this last Weds and were there for my son's birthday. No problems at all. Just a suggestion- take the taxi and not the water taxi, the taxi is quicker. We got off the ship at 8am, took a taxi for $4 pp each way plus $1 to cross the bridge. At first the man in the bldg told us $4 pp, but when we were getting in the taxi van, the driver told us $25 for all of us. NOWAY we said and got out and found another one for the $4 price we were quoted. You have to stand firm or they will take advantage of you. We arrived at the CS at 8:30am, checked in and out, said we were not going to occupy the room since it was not available until 3pm. I also got a great rate with my AAA card booked way in advance. Then we walked on the sidewalk to Atlantis, thru the Casino, down the steps to the desk near the DIG, and got our armbands. Show your CS card to the towel station desk and you can use their towels for the day. After that, we got a locker (credit card only) for $9 for a small, the mediums are $11. Then got chairs.

They opened the slides at 9:30am, and we were able to ride them 3x in a row without any lines. It got really crowded at noon. It was very enjoyable and my kids LOVED it. FUN day!
