Wheelchair tours on the QM

Friends of mine are going to the Caribbean on the QM in January. The accessibility desk has not been very helpful about suggesting tours that could work for them. The ports are St. Thomas, St. Lucia, Barbados and Grand Turk. The main problem seems to be what to do with the wheelchair. They have been told that neither the boat tours or land ones have room to store the chair on the boats/buses etc.

Can anyone assist with suggestions for tours for them? They are not adverse to private tours if someone can recommend a reliable one.
