Well now I'm stressed out...

Recommended Posts

So me and my fiance have to get married prior to sailing, he has a family member who is sick and very important to us who needs to be there when we get married.... Also for other personal reasons... So the plan was to do a vow renewal... So I called carnival assuming I could bring my marriage certificate when we get on board.... Nope they need it when you book. My other option is to basically pay 2,000 dollars for the same thing, and then still have to send them a marriage certificate a month before the sailing.... I just needed to vent.

Did you ever get this resolved? I was told you just had to have the same last name. So I booked with the same last name and will have it changed legally and on all documents beforehand. I would try calling again.
