Discover Martinique excursion through Carnival

Has anyone been on the Discover Martinique excursion through Carnival? I booked it for our upcoming cruise, first time in Martinique. Thoughts??

We did the North Panoramic Tour. It was six hours long, but at least four of those hours were riding in the bus on very curvy roads. I wouldn't recommend that particular one.

We were just in Martinique this past week (see my post titled "Just Back From Martinique"). The problem with the scenic tours offered by Carnival is that you won't see a lot, are on someone else's timeframe, and they are crazy over-priced. However, I understand some people's hesitance to book outside the cruise line. If this is you, the North Panaoramic Tour will be much better than the South Panoramic Tour.

We hired a cab who gave us a four hour tour of the island, took us where we wanted to go and for only 30 Euro or 40 US per person.
