We'll be honeymooning on the QM2 Jan 22. Does anyone know what the spa prices are? Say,a 1 hour massage? Did anyone just pay to use the spa? I read somewhere it was $25 to use the pools/ showers, etc, but included w/ a treatment.
Also.. on a 7 night cruise, What nights would be best to book for dinner at the Todd English restaurant? We don't want to miss the formal night or captains night. Do you recommend the Todd English restaurant? Is it worth it? What about the other one (where they cook the food in front of you). Any TIPS so we don't miss out on anything will be great!

What dinner seating is most preferred? We're sailing 1/22 to the Carribean, stopping in 3 ports. Is the later seating better so we're not rushed from our day trips? How late do the second seating "shows" go? Would love to hear some feedback on pros and cons of each dinner time? Is it possible to get on a wait list for an earlier dinner if you're booked for the later? Thanks!

You can go to the Canyon Ranch web site www.canyonranch.com and view the pricing for the services avaiable on board. The messages ranch in price form $99 up to over $200 depending on type and time. Also note sea days are higher than port days.

The Todd English restaurant is great and should not be missed. I would suggest that you go directly to the restaurant after you first board to get the best selection of days/time avaiable. They should be able to tell you what days would be best.

Enjoy your trip, it is a wonderful ship and we are looking forward to sailing on her again

Note when looking at the prices of the spa services that the gratuity is included in all prices listed. Even though the prices seem higher than other ships, having the included gratuity makes it more reasonable. My husband and I each enjoyed two treatments. We took full advantage of the aqua therapy center on those days. The Center - especially the aqua therapy pool - is so relaxing and peaceful. If your schedule allows, go to the Center about an hour before your treatment and spend some time there after your treatment. When you purchase a treatment you are allowed to use the Aqua Therapy Center anytime during that day. You can come and go as you like. You can also purchase a pass for the Center if you do not purchase a treatment.

You asked for additional tips. It takes a little time to figure out the Kings Court Buffet. There are four areas - each with different types of food - at breakfast and lunch. We would first walk through the different areas to see what was offered. We would then find a table that we liked. Of course, we preferred the tables by the windows. Then we would take turns getting our food. Not having to search for a table while holding a tray of food seemed to make eating there more pleasant for us.

The QM2 is an amazing ship. What a great choice for your honeymoon. I'm sure as a first time cruiser you have many questions. This is a great place to get answers.

JUST RETURNED FROM 3 WEEKS ON QM2. QUEENS GRILL FOR FIRST TWO WEEKS ... BRIT AND KINGS COURT FOR LAST WEEK CROSSING. ALL FABULOUS. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE GRILL IF IT IS AT ALL IN YOUR PLANS. VERY ROUGH CROSSING. WEATHER NOT GOOD AT ALL. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS TIME OF YEAR FOR THAT.... HAVE A DELIGHTFUL TIME.

The multi-day passes are for consecutive days. However, you can purchase several single day passes if you don't want to go on consecutive days.
