Tahiti weather

The weather in Tahiti is pretty much the same all year round--warm, humid and beautiful. The high for the day will be in the mid to upper 80s and the low in the low 70s. There is a wet season (rains for a while every day) and a dry season (also rains for a while every day). The main difference seems to be in just how long it rains. If you go in September or October, this will be the dry season. No doubt you will see some spectacular thunder storms but a typhoon would be unlikely at that time of year. The first time we went to French Polynesia, we took rain ponchos. Instead of getting rained on, we sweated. Rain is better than sweat. You will dry out quickly. Beware of wearing thin white clothing. Plenty cool but becomes transparent when it gets wet and you will get wet. Leaves you feeling (and looking) naked. Have fun!
