JanKP Posted April 3, 2016 #1 Share Posted April 3, 2016 We walked to this beach from the cruise ship. Just take a left outside the pier and walk along the beach, maybe a 5-10 minute walk. There is a sandy bottom stretch and then it gets rocky, which allows for snorkeling, then it becomes sandy-bottomed again. Lots of kids and families playing in the sandy-bottom area. There were quite a few vendors renting chairs. We paid $20 for 2 upright chairs w/umbrellas, and $30 for 2 lounger chairs with umbrellas. We only checked with one vendor so prices could vary. There was a hut with food and drinks, bathrooms. This place also rented snorkel gear, stand-up paddle boards and , I think, kayaks. We went back to the ship for lunch, then came back and got some more sun. We had a wristband so it was easy to grab some chairs upon our return. Our cruise was port-intensive, so this was a low-key and low-cost option.
