Broad answer to a broad question: "it depends". Are you history buffs and like walking? Old San Juan has tons of things to do and places to visit to satisfy your tastes. Are you beach bums? Near OSJ you can visit El Escambron beach, La Playita de Condado (Condado Little Beach), the beach behind the Marriott Stellaris, also in Condado or the beach in the Isla Verde Area. Want to venture out more? Take a tour to el Yunque rain forest. Do your homework since some tours are almost drive-thru and others involve some "hiking" (really more like moderate walking on paved, gravel or concrete paths). Are you of adventurous taste buds? Tons of places to eat in Old San Juan from local fare to almost any kind of international places.
