nc_cruiser1 Posted June 25, 2017 #1 Share Posted June 25, 2017 We're sailing Carnival Liberty and will be in Nassau on Christmas Day. We've previously done the thing at Atlantis, and so far, not too impressed with Carnival's excursion offerings. I suspect that many private operators will be taking Christmas Day off. Also, the weather can be iffy that time of year. Any thoughts or suggestions?
Elvis1001 Posted July 5, 2017 #2 Share Posted July 5, 2017 Wewere in Nassau on Christmas Day two years ago. Many shops in Nassau were closedon Christmas Day. The Starbucks and HardRock Café were open (and crowded). We walked to the local Catholic church to attend Christmas Mass late in the morning. There were some fellow cruise PAX and a few locals. In theafternoon we enjoyed watching the locals assemble floats along Bay Street forthe Junkanoo which starts very late Christmas night/very early on Boxing Day.
