Coral Cay, Tabayana Beach

I cannot compare as I only went to Coral Cay. Coral Cay had great (IMHO) shore snorkeling.

We put on our swim fins and goggles right by the beach and swam a little distance towards a pier on the left side of the beach (facing the water). Lots of interesting fish. I liked it.

Others walked to the pier and snorkeled from there.

It was a wonderful place. Highly recommend.

I've been wondering about this too. We're on the Spirit so we'll have an abbreviated stop (3-8pm). I didn't want to spend 50 on the ship excursion to take us to Tabyana so I was hoping to just go solo and take a cab to one of the local beaches.

Anybody else planning on doing the same? How much is cabfare to Coral Cay ( I heard it's about 15 rt per person to Tabyana)?
