Hi. Does it take long to walk to the edge of the cruise port in Dubai to pick up free shuttle or wait for excursion pick ups please?

The free shuttle is right outside the terminal.Same with excursions. At least that's where it was when we were on Celebrity in November.

This was my experience with Royal Caribbean as well. Very easy.

The free shuttle uses the same type of bus as the for pay hop-on, hop-off buses do, so look for the shuttle sign in the front window of the bus. They are suppose to run about every half hour, but later in the day the schedule gets messed up.
