I see so many carnival brides in this forum but are there any Royal Caribbean brides?! My wedding is 103 days away (Allure, eastern Caribbean) and I have barely seen anything g from brides doing the same as me.

I'm starting to get nervous and would love any new advice if there are any brides that have done this recently :) especially looking for anyone who had a reception at Chops :)

Thanks!!

We are having a ceremony at sea with RCC in March 2015... I feel the same way! It's hard to find anyone in the same boat as us (haha!). Have you had to submit any documents for your marriage license yet... Royal Romance keeps telling me they will contact me 60 days before set sail, but that makes me nervous that we won't have everything set in time.

I'm also worried about where and when it will take place on the ship. It's hard to keep patient, but not knowing is killing me!

Celebrity is registered in Malta. I was given basically a 2 week window to get everything in. I think it was due the week of August 8th and my sail date is 11/16. The state of CT doesn't update their files as frequently as Malta would like so I had to do a small amount of additional paperwork and then they accepted it. Malta wanted all of my documents to be dated within a 90 day window (approx). The wedding experience did reach out to make sure that I was on schedule.

As for where it will take place: ask for the venues where they hold weddings and ask how many people each venue holds and go from there. I literally thought that celebrity was going to choose my venue and then like 2 weeks ago I started asking questions about the different venues. It was then that I was informed that I old at least request a venue. Also you will want to request your wedding time. I requested 4:30pm because we re only 9 people and our reception dinner will be at a specialty restaurant.

Hi all! Thx for the feedback-especially about Chops. We should have our final count in the next week but I think we are at 60 guests. It's 98 days out now and I am expecting to hear from someone soon! I have no idea what paperwork to gather for our license.

I have no idea about venue but I requested a view and 2pm. I want time in between for pics etc and our dinner is at 630. I think Viking crown is our only option for ocean view with this many ppl

I still need to arrange dj and cake and flowers. But I get my dress I. 2 weeks so at least that is done haha

Vegas, you should consider calling your wedding coordinaor and ask them when you need your paperwork and ask exactly what you need. It may take you some time to gather and you don't want to miss your timeline. I had to travel to Hartford to gather mine. Fortunately for me I live in a small state. You may have to do things by mail which will require more time. Keep us posted.

I'm about 130 days out and called recently to find out what paperwork I needed... I was given the standard "someone will contact you 90 days out" blah blah blah. As far as I can gather, we will need passport, photo ID, and birth certificates, plus whatever forms RC sends.

I've been looking at pictures of the Viking Crown Lounge, as we will have about 50 guests. I don't think you can beat the views up there. Keep us posted! :)

I did call to clarify about my passport as I am going to renew it right away. After my "specialist" let's me know the copy is clear then i can send it in for renewal.

95 days to go, let's see when I get the call haha

I'm so far behind I don't have wedding favors, bridesmaid gifts, flower girl/ring bearer stuff or shoes!!! And I still have to organize all my music!!!

Aaa ah!!

Etsy is looking better and better actually! Just have to settle on what I like and get my final count. Which is looking like might be 65!!

We are holding our dinner and reception in Chops, so I will be getting a DJ but bringing a laptop with all the music that I want. I am hoping one of the coordintors will be able to deal with the music for the ceremony so I don't have to get a guest to do it...

I am sure it will all work out, I just want to make sure I've gotten everything prepared!! I cannot find my girls Cornflower blue shoes to save my life haha

In my case, I've decided to give the bride a break and I'm handling all of the bookings and paperwork. We just sent in our contract last weekend for an at sea wedding on Freedom of the Seas in September 2015. Had to call in to follow up with them again today, though, because we hadn't heard back from them after emailing the signed contract on Sunday. They asked me to send it again directly to an individual's email address instead of the generic one. That person then responded right away saying they have what they need for now and that they will send us an invoice once it has been signed by the necessary person at Royal Caribbean.
