Is the Embera Indians excursion still available?

We are on the Panama cruise next year and I have read much about these local Indians and would very much like to visit their village. Is the tour offered by Princess out of Cartagena or do I need to source a local guide (eg Mario's Tours in Panama)?

After further research it appears this is only available out of Colon or Panama city and we don't go there :(

Anna, if you are on a Panama cruise where is your ship stopping in Panama?

It was my impression that if you are on the partial Princess transit, you cannot book a tour except thru Princess because of the need to tender at Gatun Lake. We have booked their authentic Embera tribe tour on our 2/5/15 tour.

Correct. It's a very worthwhile experience and unique to Panama. You'll enjoy!
