koryisma Posted March 17, 2013 #1 Share Posted March 17, 2013 So... looks like there's a 50% chance of rain both port days next weekend! BOO! We've already booked Stewart Cove, but no other excursions. My husband is a beach bum. I'm interested in culture/walking around and interacting with people. We don't drink (I know, I know). What would you do in Nassau/Freeport for CHEAP (Stewart Cove was our splurge) if it is sunny? More importantly-- what would you do in Nasseau/Freeport if it RAINS? SteelerCruiser Posted March 23, 2013 #3 Share Posted March 23, 2013 well if it is scattered rain or not hard rain and lightning maybe look at going to the beach. Junkanoo in Nassau and Our Lucaya I Freeport. Both are free beaches and easy access by foot inNassau and an easy cab ride in Freeport.
