does anyone know if telephone card still work in Mexico

Hi, when I went to Mexico ( I think it is Cabo) about 2 yrs ago, I was able

to purchase telephone card that you insert into public telephone,and can

call back to US. Does anyone know if that is still the case? I want to

check up on my parents when I am there. My parents do not have e mail

. I do not have smart phone , and my cell phone does not have international

calling plan, so it would be kind of expensive for me to use my cell to

call back to US when I go to Mexico.

I happen to buy a couple of cards from if I remember right 2 yrs ago, would

those unused cards still work now ?

I don't know about phone cards, but my cell phone (not a smart phone) charged 99 cents for calls to the U.S. and I didn't have an international plan.
