Avis on Canal St New Orleans??

Just wondering if anyone knew how far it is to the Avis Rental Car location on Canal Street from the cruise port? Also, do you know if Avis will pick up us from the port if we are renting a car after our cruise?

About 1.5 miles.

They might pick up at the port. I know they will drop you off there. I would call the location itself and ask.

They have limited hours on Sat and Sun.
