Excursion feedback for Sofitel Fiji

We arrive at the Sofitel Fiji on Aug 26 2014 so we will have 3 days to soak up the resort and acclimate to the time zone change before embarking on August 30th for the PG 12-day cruise for Cook Tonga, Society Islands...

 

Anybody stayed at this particular resort? Any excursions there to recommend? Also, we're staying a in Superior Room. Any feedback on this is greatly appreciated. Can't wait to board this Sunday night!
