wheelchair hire in civitavecchia

Mobility equipment to be used on the ship is normally done in advance, through one of the companies the ship line has an agreement with.

The two companies I know of are Special Needs at Sea, and Care Vacations. Find out if your cruise line accepts equipment from both these companies, or which one. If only one, you can deal with that company; if both, get info from each, then determine which one you want to do business with.

The wheelchair or scooter will be delivered to your cabin, and left there at the end of the cruise for them to pick up. A weekly charge is a reasonable amount, with a one-way additional charge if the disembarkation port is different. Insurance is extra.

I have rented several times from Special Needs at Sea, and found them to be very helpful and reliable.
