Mikkar Posted October 22, 2014 #1 Share Posted October 22, 2014 I asked this on the regular boards but didn't get a response so I want to reach out to my fellow gamblers for an answer. I just called CAS to get the rate on the 2 night CTN on the Breakaway in January. They offered me a Haven Front Facing Penthouse Suite that I'm really excited about but just wondering if a 2 night cruise will negatively affect my ADT? Jeffffffs Posted October 23, 2014 #2 Share Posted October 23, 2014 Since ADT is a daily average I wouldn't think it would matter...but then again it's impossible to get a clear picture of how casinos calculate these things anymore. I'd enjoy the suite and not worry about it.
spidybabe Posted October 23, 2014 #3 Share Posted October 23, 2014 Not sure how it works.....but on our last 1 night and 2 night CTN ( thru CAS) it was almost impossible to get near a table or slot machine. Now with NCL's smoking policy change.......will more people be in the casino?? Also many inexperienced gamblers around. We still had a great time!!! Safe sailing

I'd enjoy the suite and not worry about it. It is very convoluted; I think that Caesar's used to calculate it with every 3 days being considered a "trip" but I don't know if it ran consecutively with each visit. Oh well, I think you're right, I'm going to just enjoy it but I think I'll book another cruise after the one in January, just in case the 2 night cruise had a negative impact. This is the first 2 night cruise for us and we really don't know what to expect. We thought it would be a nice change from a weekend at Foxwoods. I hope I'm able to get on a machine, I don't like having to stand behind someone waiting for them to lose.
skeeter195 Posted October 23, 2014 #6 Share Posted October 23, 2014 My suggestion is to book another cruise before you go. I was always told that your next cruise comp is based on your previous play from your last cruise. This made sense. So I booked a 10 day cruise and I was comped a mini suite. Then before that cruise I booked a 2 nighter with friends and I was surprised when I was comped another mini. Then I booked another 7 day cruise and was comped a mini yet again. So I have 3 comped cruises booked all on my play from my last cruise. My last cruise was nothing outstanding, I earned almost 14000 points and moved to the Golden level. So I say book what you think you might want and see if you can get it comped just in case you fall off of your play on your next cruise.

I wanted to plan something for March but I was waiting until after our cruise in November, but maybe I'll give them a call to price it out.
