Last minute Cruise cancellation?

Has anybody ever had a last minute cancellation due to bad weather? We are supposed to be cruising out of Sydney on Monday, with what's going on, on the East coast at the moment, I'm a little unsure of how this could play out. Assuming flights aren't cancelled as well...

Welcome,if you post there i wouldnt be surprised if you start getting replies tonight.

Never heard of a departure cancelled due to weather. have heard of ships staying in the harbour until weather permits but even the bad weather in Sydney at the moment would be unlikely to stop a ship getting out through the heads. More likely to stop one getting in.
